Baptism of Children

Baptism is the sacrament of welcoming a child into the life of the church. We are grateful that you have chosen to raise your child Catholic.

Requirements

We baptize children up to 6 years of age. A birth certificate is required.
Each child needs a godparent. As a parent, you have the responsibility of choosing a person who will care for the faith of this child as a godparent.
A godparent must have completed the Sacrament of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion).
Parents and godparent(s) must attend a pre-Baptismal class. We offer Baptism classes twice a month. . Before signing up for Baptism class, please complete the form below or call the Parish Office at 773-235-3646.
There is a donation fee of $130 per child for the baptism.
There is a $30 fee for the Pre-Baptism class. If you are not celebrating the baptism in our parish.

El Bautismo es el sacramento por el cual se da la bienvenida a un niño a la vida de la Iglesia. Agradecemos que hayan elegido criar a su hijo en la fe católica.
Requisitos

Bautizamos a niños hasta los 6 años de edad. Se requiere el acta de nacimiento.
Cada niño debe tener un padrino o madrina.
El padrino o la madrina debe haber completado los Sacramentos de Iniciación (Bautismo, Confirmación y Primera Comunión).
Los padres y el padrino o madrina deben asistir a una clase pre-bautismal. Ofrecemos clases de Bautismo dos veces al mes.
Antes de inscribirse en la clase de Bautismo, por favor complete el formulario a continuación o llame a la Oficina Parroquial al 773-235-3646.
La donación para el Bautismo es de $130 por niño.
