Marriage preparation is booked by the priest. You must call the office at least 6 months before the intended marriage date. Please do not book the hall or reception location until you secure the date with the priest.

Requirements
1. Baptism
  • At least one of the parties must be a baptized Catholic.
  • If one party is not Catholic, permission or a dispensation from the bishop is required.
2. Freedom to marry
  • Both parties must be free to marry.
  • Neither may have been previously married in the Church.
  • If there was a prior marriage (civil or religious), the situation must be discussed with the priest.
3. Marriage preparation
  • Participation in a marriage preparation course (Pre-Cana or another diocesan-approved program).
  • Interviews with the priest or deacon.
The fee for a wedding at Jesus, Bread of Life Parish is $700. The church will provide the music.

La preparación matrimonial es coordinada por el sacerdote. Deben llamar a la oficina parroquial con al menos 6 meses de anticipación a la fecha prevista de la boda. Por favor, no reserven el salón ni el lugar de la recepción hasta haber asegurado la fecha con el sacerdote.

  • Ambos deben ser libres para contraer matrimonio.
  • No haber estado casados antes por la Iglesia.
  • Si hubo un matrimonio previo (civil o religioso), debe aclararse la situación con el sacerdote.

    3. Preparación matrimonial
  • Participar en un curso de preparación (Pre-Cana u otro aprobado por la diócesis).
  • Realizar entrevistas con el sacerdote o diácono.
  • La donación para una boda en la Parroquia Jesús, Pan de Vida es de $700. La iglesia proveerá la música.
