Marriage is a sacrament where the couple unites becoming one for the rest of their lives. In our Parish we celebrate weddings any day except on a Sunday.

Marriage preparation is booked by the priest. You must call the office at least 6 months before the intended marriage date. Please do not book the hall or reception location until you secure the date with the priest.

Requirements

• Either the bride or the groom must be a Catholic, which means must be baptized and confirmed. Must a member of a catholic parish.
• Either one must have not been married before. Note: If you have been married, please call the priest to discuss options.
• The couple must take a PreCana class through the Archdiocese of Chicago Family Minisitries.
• The fee for a wedding at Jesus, Bread of Life Parish is $700. The church will provide the music.
